 A Message from CEO Jean Aycock
Welcome to Oconee Regional Medical Center!
Since its founding in 1959, ORMC has been committed to providing the middle Georgia region with quality healthcare that is close to home. We understand that being your local hospital is a big responsibility and it is one that we take very seriously. Simply said, your good health is our number one priority.
At ORMC we are focused on providing compassionate patient care using the most advanced medical technologies available to us. For over 50 years, our hospital has continuously sought to make improvements and to introduce new services to best meet your needs. In the past decade alone, we have invested over $40,000,000 in new facilities and equipment, including construction of Park Tower to provide a state-of-the-art environment for many of our medical services. Other recent upgrades have included renovation and expansion of our Emergency Department and our Intensive Care Unit, and the addition of new services such as Digital Mammography and our Wound Healing Center.
Of course, the most important measure of our strength is in the quality of our staff. ORMC is fortunate to be served by talented and experienced physicians and nurses who are supported by a team of caring healthcare professionals. Together, they work to deliver high quality care in an environment of compassion, courtesy, and respect.
