Lower Arterial Screen Test
During the test you will lie on an examination table. Blood pressure readings will be made in your arms and legs. The technician will also use a special ultrasound probe to help assess blood flow. You may have readings taken before and immediately after exercising to capture the severity of the narrowing of arteries.
When testing is completed, you may resume all normal activities. Follow up with your attending physician to discuss the results of your test. Results usually are available to the physician in 1-2 business days.
