What is MNT?
- MNT involves an in-depth, one-on-one nutrition assessment, counseling session, and nutrition action plan with a Registered, Licensed Dietitian
- MNT focuses on disease management, including: Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes*, Gestational Diabetes*, Chronic Kidney Disease*, Pre-diabetes, weight management, hypertension, high cholesterol, food allergies, gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular disease, and more!
What to Expect?
- A physician’s referral is needed for MNT, so talk with your physician today to learn how MNT could help you manage your condition and help prevent further complications!
- Many insurance companies have a policy for MNT coverage
- Individual or group counseling sessions with flexible scheduling
*Medicare will cover MNT for diabetes, non-dialysis kidney disease, and post-kidney transplant.
