Physical Therapy Services
The Physical Therapy Department at Oconee Regional Medical Center is staffed by Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists. Our therapists are certified in Orthopaedic, Lymphadema, and Vital Stimulation therapy. We offer a wide variety of services (including aquatics) to help injured or disabled individuals regain their abilities and daily living skills. Treatments take place both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The Physical Therapy Department is located on the second floor of Cobb Tower near Entrance C. - Difficulty with self-care
- Difficulty with feeding
- Decreased strength and endurance
- Decreased coordination
- Assistance with adaptive equipment or splints
- Assistance with positioning to adaptive environments
- Being moved from tube to oral feedings
- Communication problems
- Understanding or following commands
- Swallowing
- Delayed or altered speech
- Choking or coughing while swallowing
