Our Mission

Oconee Regional Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization. It was created in order to assist Oconee Regional Medical Center in funding projects that fall outside the revenue stream of the hospital. Projects in which the Foundation has been involved include the renovation of the Emergency Treatment Center. Employees contributing to the Foundation through SHINE (the employee-giving arm of Oconee Regional Healthcare Foundation) have funded a canopy over the Patient Discharge Area, the completion and furnishings for a Bereavement Room adjacent to the Emergency Treatment Center, and the renovation of the Mammography waiting area.

There are many giving opportunities through the Foundation: Lasting Impressions Brick Campaign, Memorial Gifts, Spring Tour of Homes and the annual Ball held each Fall.
