Sleep Evaluation Center Open on Lake Oconee
Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville opened The Sleep Evaluation Center, 1097 Lake Oconee Parkway, Suite 404, in Eatonton on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. This state-of-the-art center is a satellite program of The Sleep Evaluation Center at Oconee Regional Medical Center.
One out of every four people suffer from a sleep disorder and many disorders can be life threatening. Sleep apnea, when a person stops breathing for about 10 seconds or more as many as 600 times per night, is the most common of over 80 recognized sleep disorders.
