The Samuel M. Goodrich, MD, Healthcare Scholarship Fund was recently created to honor Dr. Goodrich for his service to the citizens of Baldwin County. This scholarship will provide educational schlolarships to Baldwin County college students entering a healthcare profession.
Currently, a 52 Gun Raffle is being held to raise money for the scholarship fund. Only 1,300 3-digit tickets (numbered 000 - 999) will be sold for $50 each. The Georgia Lottery's Cash 3 drawing (straight bet) on Saturday nights at 6:59 p.m. will determine winning numbers. Ticket holders can win more than once. A gun will be given away each Saturday, beginning June 7, 2008 through May 30, 2009.
Only individuals may enter. Guns awarded as prizes will tbe distributed through Bayne's Army Store in Milledgeville, a licensed dealer and only in compliance with federal and state laws and applicable local ordinances. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
