Oconee Regional Medical Center's "To Your Health" is a free, educational series featuring a variety of health-related topics dedicated to improving your life. A different topic is presented each month. No registration is necessary, and light refreshments are served. Upcoming educational topics include:

* Tuesday, May 20 - Domestic Violence as a Health Issue; 6 p.m.; Park Tower Education Center. Johnnie Wilson, director of the SAFE program of Baldwin County, will look into this growing concern, the prevalence in our community and how to protect yourself and others.

* Thursday, June 19 - Sex and the Heart: What You Need to Know; 6 p.m.; Park Tower Education Center. Boris Velimirovich, MD, F.A.C.S., board certified urologist, will discuss why erectile dysfunction (ED) is often an early warning sign of heart disease. Topics will also include the physical and emotional effects of ED, as well as treatment options that can help restore and revitalize your relationship.

* Thursday, July 17 - Sun Damage; 6 p.m.; Park Tower Education Center. Debra Paschal, nurse practitioner, will given an informative lecture on the harmful effects of the sun's rays, how to screen for warning signs and how to protect yourself and your family.

* Thursday, August 21 - Incontinence: Urine Leakage Does Not Need to be a Sign of Aging; 6 p.m.; Park Tower Education Center. Over 13 million Americans suffer from urinary incontinence and 85% are women. Boris Velimirovich, MD, F.A.C.S., board certified urologist, will cover causes, symptoms and treatment options for all types of urinary incontinence.
